AeroBreath™ SIMPLE $100 Ventilator
AeroBreath™ began as the collaboration of two Vermont aerospace engineers, looking to use their knowledge and expertise to make an impact in the fight against COVID-19. Their main goal - keep it SIMPLE. Simplicity means minimal parts, ease of assembly and shortened time to deployment. Capability is not sacrificed.
The SIMPLE AeroBreath™ $100 Ventilators can have immediate impact in two ways: (1) in the recovery phase for patients leaving the ICU, and (2) in regions of the world without access to negative-pressure ICUs, where they can be utilized prior to a patient becoming critical, giving more oxygen and strength for fighting the virus. Simplicity can save the most lives in the most places.

The AeroBreath™ Project is currently funded by founders, friends, family and donations from forward-thinking groups and businesses. Please help us get the word out and please consider supporting our endeavor to make breathing possible for those in need. We are raising funds to begin delivery of 10,000 new ventilators, and will keep on delivering until the U.S. and world needs have been met. Our first focus is on delivering requested units for clinical trials at two major U.S. healthcare institutions.
This is not a money-making project.
Battles are being won by courageous health care professionals, but the urgent need remains for capable, yet affordable, ventilators to win the war this year and prepare for the next wave.
In Haiti, a country of 11.3 million people, not yet peaking, there are 64 ventilators.
In all of Western Kenya, there are only 4 ventilators.
The need remains vast for low-cost, quickly deployable ventilators everywhere in the world.
High-income countries, which may no longer be ventilator short, need lower cost, easier to use, devices to help them re-tool treatment protocols and device reserves to handle the on-going pandemic at a lower cost of care while maintaining high treatment standards.

AeroBreath™ Ventilator
A SIMPLE Machine
The AeroBreath™ ventilator is a SIMPLE positive pressure breathing assistant with the tidal volume, pressure and I/E ratio capabilities of far more expensive and complex ventilators. Our ventilator was designed to be assembled from easily sourced parts for quick deployment to areas and individuals in need all over the world. AeroBreath™ ventilator capabilities span from S to E with the manually operated (S Lane) or motorized (E Lane) depending on clinical needs and urgency of deployment.
